Deshka Landing Outdoor Association LLC (DLOA)

Commercial Fishing Guide/Charter Policy

 

All Commercial Sport Fishing Guides and Charter Services operating from Deshka Landing must register annually (one time) with DLOA during business hours. You will be required to provide copies of the following documents to the Deshka Landing office prior to using the launch.

 

  1. AK Dept of Fish and Game Sport Fishing Guide Registration for all guides

  2. Certificate naming Deshka Landing as additional insured

As of March 14, 2007, the DLOA suspended the Exclusive/Limited Commercial Fish Guide/Charter Policy. All Commercial Fishing Guide/Charter Operations may choose seasonal rate only- there is no daily rate for any commercial operations.

Rates are:

 

  • Season- $1000 per registered boat (May 1- October 15).  Season Pass holders are issued one electronic gate swipe card.  Lost swipe cards can be replaced for $50.

Additional Rules Apply: 

  1. Clients in separate vehicles must pay for parking.
  2. Only Guides or Charter Services that are in “good stead” with the DLOA will be afforded access.
  3. Charter boats that enter without proper registration will result in banning of the charter company.
  4. Any boat displaying the State of Alaska Guide/Charter decals will be assessed the commercial rate fee. (No Exceptions, even if the individual is not guiding or chartering on the given day.)
  5. Individual Recreational Day and Season Passes do not apply to commercial operations.
  6. You may not purchase an electronic gate or day pass, without first “one time” registering with the DLOA.
  7. Clients requesting a parking space, to meet an unregistered guide or charter service will be denied access to the DLOA.
